Deni,
Wow - you are one powerful woman! You look absolutely great, the poster child of Kickin' Cancer!!!!! Thank you so, so much for sharing.
Deni - Congratulations! You are obviously surviving in style. Anita
Thank you!
A brief history- I was diagnosed in January 2011 with Stage IV Metastatic Adenocarcinoma NSC Lung Cancer. I immediately began chemo for 3 rounds, followed by 5 days of Stereotactic Radiation. The combination worked great! The main tumor in my right lung, the mets to my left glute muscle & the soft tissue of my left thigh were eliminated & scar tissue is what remains. At the end of 2014, I had mets to my adrenal gland which also was removed by radiation. I've been blessed; I know the journey could've been so much worse & could change in any moment. I have an excellent Oncology team who help me make the tight decisions when it comes to treatment & monitoring my health! I have been told that my case is unique & I continue to beat the odds. My plan is to be the exception to the statistics.. after all, they're just numbers!

You look beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing your story. My dad is being treated for small cell lung cancer right now. He was diagnosed this past June. He had a good response from the chemo and is now moving into his second week of radiation. Always praying he gets through this and refusing to lose hope!
