Hi Shannon97, as for your question, I would tend to think one has to be looking for certain things with any blood test. So, I would assume the answer is "No" to your question.

I only assume there are different types of markers used to detect different types of diseases or conditions and cancers. I would also suggest contacting your own family doctor with questions like this.

Keep us all posted if you do get a better reply to your question. Lord knows there has to be a ton of better answers, but I just wanted to help the best I could.

So far circulating DNA cells (cDNA) are more accurate for indicating some cancers over others but its the best we've got until they identify a mass they can biopsy.
