I have had my bottom right lobe removed due to non small cell lung cancer and a blood clot on July 1, 2015. I am still in pain from the surgery and it still hurts my lung to breathe. It hurts so badly... Does anyone else have this issue?

Hi, May God bless you. In June 2014 I had 40% of right lung removed. In between my breast on the front is still so very painful, as well as my surgical area. I am on oxygen to help me breathe, and can't get enough breath in and out. I have CO PD and emphysema. My lung cancer was stage III and on June 6 I'll be in remission for two years. The doctor says the scar tissue and radiation fibrosis, is why it's so difficult to breathe. I am on Medi-Cal I EHP insurance due to being on disability. I think they might be going to try and take my oxygen away, due to my SPO2 staying around 95 to 100. I feel that's just craziness. As I cannot breathe well. Did you also have chemo and radiation? My prayers are with you.

I had s lobe and a half removed over 8 years ago . Yes it is very painful but believe me I don't remember it anymore. I did take several pain killers and the hospital have me a pillow shaped like a heart I hel that pillow over the surgery site for dear life. I went every place with it. Now it's 8 years later I'm still under treatment and I am alive‼️You too can be a survivor as well as a warrior.

I do still have pain after seven years to be honest. But I have had two surgeries, and chemo and radiation. Don't be afraid to take your pain pills. Hopefully for u the pain will go away in time. I just had radiation and chemo in 2014. Pray, ask God for help with the pain. He helps me every time. God bless. We are alive.

Yes, I have had two surgery, and in 2014, I had chemo and radiation. I have chronic pain. It can be hard at times. I see a pain management specialist. I take the pain pills like he tells me. I also pray, and ask God to help me with the pain. I pray after awhile your pain will go away. Some do. Just keep the faith. Take it one day at a time. We are alive. God is good. I know having pain is no fun. Hang in there. Write me whenever u want to talk about your pain. I understand. Try to find something u enjoy doing to help distract yourself from the pain. Stay as positive as u can. Pray. You are not alone.
