Thanks to everyone for thinking of me. Yes, I am exhausted. He is not well, but pretending to be well, I have also been working, and trying to Christmas us, and the kids had colds and had to stay home, and concerts and parents evenings and such.

My person from the hospice at home is LOVELY but, we are doing difficult work. I put my foot down today and told him there is no way he can travel to Germany next week.

I took the kids to M's grief group Christmas fun day, which they both enjoyed. I took them to the pictures too - because at this point, I believe taking them AWAY from here to do fun things is very important.

M is not sleeping on her own very often, and I have been getting up at 5 to do laundry and lunches before going to work, as the same time as staying up late to watch J's TV shows and chat with him. So, just mind numbingly exhausted. And trying to prepare for it to get worse.

Yes, we are all thinking of you and sending you so many loving, caring vibes you would not believe whether you post or not.

When I read your post I visualised a rag doll being pulled about in all directions, just trying to do the best for everyone and look after their differing welfares.

You must be mind and body numbingly exhausted, I so admire you, you are doing a phenomenal job in impossible circumstances.

Thank you my lovely. His nurse and the Palliative care team are going to call him every day next week so I can take the kids to Germany (even though he chose the trip as a thing he wanted to do)

I am supposed to be motivating myself to finish the stocking wrapping, cos today is the LAST DAY. I have decided though that I am going to wrap what I wrap, (since I have to do all four) and no one will ever know they might not get ALL the things.
