Hi I have had 14 rounds of Azacitidine- 7 days of treatment per 28 days. The dosage is based on your body weight. I had 2 x75 injections. It is made up in the hospital pharmacy. The nurses usually roll the syringes in their hands to make sure it’s well mixed and hasn’t settled. They inject it steadily into my stomach. They try to avoid previous injection sites. My stomach gets swollen with hard lumps. It’s quite tender. No more bikinis for me! But I’m still here for the moment… but it may have stopped working. I see my haematologist tomorrow.
