Hi Jean Marie,

Welcome to the board.

I am not in the same position as you, but I know for sure there are other posters who will be able to share experiences.

I just wanted to make you feel welcome. LC is UK based, so you may find the time zone means replies are at odd times for you (and some of the medical experiences may be a bit different) That said, there *are* posters from all over, and everyone is very friendly.

Hi Jean Marie,

Welcome to the group.

I am sure you will find many like minded people on here.

I’m from Bonnie Scotland and was diagnosed aged 20 with ALL in 1986, so 36 years ago I too had a Stem Cell Transplant.

Living proof that this long journey can be a success.

Please feel free to post anything on here that you need. There will always be someone who will have a similar experience or thoughts that may be able to help.

Kind regards

R

Hi Jean Marie, I am so glad that you have found us, welcome. I am in the UK with another blood cancer and have not had a stem cell transplant but I just wanted to say, we often have different stories on here but what I have noticed is we often share the same fears, anxieties, thoughts and practicalities, the main thing is to look after yourself and keep posting.
