This Leukaemia Care webinar will explore the latest guidance and recommendations for leukaemia patients, including those who are immunocompromised and the clinically extremely vulnerable. Are there different recommendations for different groups of patients?
The aim of this webinar is to update on latest COVID-19 data across the leukaemia types: vaccinations, responses, what does this mean in relation to protection, information about COVID-19 primary vaccinations, boosters and progress with anti-COVID-19 monoclonal antibody research trials for the immune compromised
We will be joined by:
Dr Helen Parry, National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), Birmingham University and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Helen is a clinical lecturer leading research into optimising vaccination strategies and minimising infection risk in patients with leukaemia
