Booster shot on Rituximab.
Hi guys have just finished 4 week Rituxumab infusions platelets have gone up to 230. Do you know how long after finishing Ritux I will be able to have a booster shot? Am desperate to fly Australia to NZ to visit my adult children it’s been 3 years.
I have no proof but happened during rituxamab infusions. I had to drop everything diagnosed with DVT that traveled to my lungs, also experienced a pulmonary embolism.
It may be advisable to talk to your oncologist/hematologist about doing the antibody infusion vs. Booster. I dont know what triggered your situation, but that is my option for my next covid booster in 4 months. Currently at 4k platelets as of today's labs.
