I was diagnosed with ITP 8 months ago after I got my first Covid 19 shot. A week after the shot I had bruising all over my arms and stomach. I went to my doctor and my platelet count was 3,000. I was put in the hospital for a week and given a platelet transfusion and IVIG treatment. Since then I have been on prednison starting at 60 mg and have tapered down to 5mg. That is when my platelets dropped again to 20,000 and I am now considered having Chronic ITP. The doctor now has me on a combination of Promacta 50 mg along with10 mg of prednison. After two months of this combination I am still running low so the doctor now has me on 75 mg of promacta with the same amount of predinson. For the past two weeks I have had terrible headaches in the temple in the eye and in the back of my neck. Has anyone else had this occur?

Though my ITP has stabilised, I too had really bad migraines from the Promacta, never having migraines before it wasn't fun, so I know how you feel.
