A laboratory study conducted by Korean researchers and published in November of 2019, concluded that natural alkaloids “Cepharanthine,Tetrandrine, and Fangchinoline are potentially strong natural antiviral agents for the treatment of HCoV infection. These results indicate that Cepharanthine can be applied for the prevention and treatment of Human Coronavirus infection”.
