Hello

Thank you for your post, I would encourage you to contact your doctor performing the procedure to ask questions in advance. Anesthesia generally depends on the individual procedure being performed.

Kind regards

I honestly don't know. But what I can say us that I had a general anaesthetic a few years ago. 6 months later due to a problem with operation, I developed anxiety and pvc's. So had a holter monitor to check. The monitor showed up incidentally that I had 2nd degree heartblock type 1. I was in late 50"s and never knew. So I'm guessing it is safe as you would be monitored by anaesthetist.

So in other words I had a general anaesthetic without knowing I had heart block . Hope that helps a little.
