Private hospital question UK

Hi,

I have surgery booked in for 10th December to have cysts removed. My situation and symptoms have really increased in intensity. If I contact my specialist can it be brought forward if he classes it more urgent? Im not surehow this situation would work in a private hospital rather than NHS Can anyone advise please?
