Hi, I’m sorry to hear this, my husband suffered a traumatic brain injury. I know how hard it is, especially at the beginning. We are 3 years down the line now. If I can answer any specific questions you may have please let me know. I happy to give you advice on things we found helpful. Our main problems have been the seizures, anxiety and short term memory loss. It’s been a long road but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi, i never really reply to posts because I don't feel I'm expert enough to give advice. I just so happen to have posted something and I saw your post. What I'd say to you is to try write down what the problems are. I know the list can be exhaustive and you may not know where to start but just start with the here and now. What's happened to have brought you to write this post. This not only helps you see and write down your thoughts and emotions but it also gives context so that people can relate and better understand the situation and then advise.

It's not easy but you're going to be okay. It's challenging but you'll find ways to manage this. Always find time for yourself and just understand that what's going on around you isn't you, it's just the situation you're in. How you then react to that all depends on you. Take long walks, talk to yourself if you have to, get angry and shout it out into the forest, cry if that comes but don't beat yourself down and don't stop believing in the power of your capabilities. You're more resilient than you know.
