Hello, this is my first post. I’ve found this site after searching all night for answers. I suffer from major health anxiety, after loosing my mother to breast cancer. I am 40 next week. I have 6 children and my biggest fear is leaving them, and them feeling how I did after loosing my mother.
I’ve always had normal smear tests, and my last was April 2021. So only 8 months ago. I stopped breast feeding in March 2021, after 3.5 years, and 9 consecutive years or either being pregnant or breastfeeding or both! So I’m guessing my hormones are still settling down. I’m worried because in the summer, on 3 separate occasions, I had very pale pink discharge after sex, but it was between 1 - 4 days before my period started, so I didn’t worry too much. But then on Sunday, I bleed a little after sex. It was then fine until Thursday, when I had a little brown, followed by pink and then slight red, discharge. It’s now Saturday and there’s just a yellow tint. I’ve also had pelvic pain.
I often have pelvic pain, particularly by my left ovary. And also shooting pains around my vagina. I’ve had several scans for this, the last was February 2019. Where I was diagnosed with Adenomysis. So I’m assuming that’s all the reason for my pains.
I’m so paranoid that I’ve got something awful wrong with me. And when I Google the symptoms,( which I’m addicted to doing!! I know I shouldn’t do!!) it comes up with cervical cancer. I’m worrying myself sick over it!! But trying to assure myself that I’ve never had an abnormal test!
I can’t sleep, or eat or feel happy at the moment, as I’m just so terrified!! I have an appointment for an examination on Tuesday, but I’m so worried until then.
Could it be the start or peri menopause?!
Please help!
