my 76 yrs old mum was recently diagnosed with grade 4 brain tumour which was 90% removed this wk by craniotomy. She tolerated the craniotomy very well and was discharged the next day after surgery. Some numbness to left side but this was there prior to surgery and appears to have stayed the same thankfully. I’ve read so many things on the internet to try find ways to support her the best I can, but it all very overwhelming and one doesn’t know where to start to be honest
She will be starting chemo and radio in maybe 3-4 wks. We get biopsy result Friday,
Any help/tips would be appreciated at this stage
1. any tips on important questions to ask the consultant at this first meeting re diagnosis /treatment etc following her surgery
2. Suggestions on supplements to take, so many supplements suggested on the internet
Ps I’ve told her no more sugar and cakes 🙈
I am also very interested in alternative therapies to support better recovery from chemo and radio? Also anything to help delay tumour regrowth.
Does anyone have any experience with oxygen chamber therapy, oxygen kills cancer I’ve been told?
Staying positive and taking each take as it comes, one step at a time ❤️

Can I suggest you make use of the Brain Tumour Charity's BRIAN APP and have a look at the various posts I have placed on the Discussion Board, which you will hopefully find useful; especially about drinking ozonated water and my use of 3% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (multi-purpose).
Well done on cutting out cakes, etc. from your mothers diet, I always recommend including blueberries, pecan nuts and turmeric spice, which have anti-cancer properties within a diet.
Staying positive and believing that you can get through this with a positive outcome is vital, so stay strong, be positive and laugh as much as possible.
Regarding chemo and radiotherapy, I drank ozonated water when I was receiving both treatments. I do recommend you mum drinking a pint of water, not in one go!, when taking chemo as this should help her to digest the drug more quickly into her body.
If you have any questions please leave a post here or on the BRIAN APP and I will reply.
Stay strong, positive and live both your lives together with one eye always open towards a positive future ahead of you.
