I've had my 2 doses of the astra zenica vaccine. Luckily no side effects. I spoke with my consultant before taking the vaccine and he was very insistant that I take it. I have asthma, bronchiectasis and ABPA. I have been on prednisolone for 5 years and my dose is down to 7.5mg daily. I also use seritide inhaler twice a day. Best wishes. Mary
Much appreciated Mary! I just discovered I have ABPA since finding aspergillosis in my lungs from black mold and just healing so not 100% better so everything seems to revolve around covid and the fear of it all. Thanks for the insight and good luck with everything as well!
There are no noted problems associated with having a COVID vaccine specifically for people with ABPA. In the UK, if you are offered a vaccine the best option is to take it. If concerned talk to your doctor.
