Good news at last

I went downstairs to get yesterdays letters. When I got there one of them was a letter from DWP. 'Now what' thinks I. I have been moved from the WRAG group to supported. What a relief, the interview was to be on my friend's birthday so I expect he will be happy too.

It's quite easy to do something nicer.

Whoops the iPad ate my earlier reply, what I said was that it is good to have good news from a brown envelope, not a common occurrence , very happy for you :D

I must admit I did expect bad news when I opened it.

Thank you. My advisor didn't think it would be so easy. I had no medical and apparently the same people who made the original decision would just take a second look and with no evidence apart from the form were very unlikely to change their decision.

Shows just what a farce the whole process is really doesn't it! It puts such a lot of extra stress on all of us and is costing millions to administer. In the meantime people are struggling on very little while Atos and their employees are making a fortune.

So pleased for you, Angel, that you were put in the support group without all the hassle of a medical.

Enjoy your Bank Holiday.

i have had no medical and have sent in now 80 pages for my tribunal and still had no date and no change of decision. This is going to kill me as i am also struggling with DLA reassessment out of the blue too

I'm filling in my DLA form now. I have help from Sam at Welfare Rights. I would find it very difficult on my own.
