My name is RAS FIRE I is helping my mum who can not read or write and suffers from low self esteam, Depression, Mirgraine diabitities, not very mobile. My mum attended the Medical the nurse asked a few questions and failed her. My mum is 59 can,t do much for herself. This is wicked what the Gov is doing my mum is on appeal and this is killing her.

Here is some information about what to do if you fail the ESA work capability assessment. fibroaction.healthunlocked....

I recently read (will try & remember where so I can post it properly) that it may be useful if your Mum's GP thinks that if she is made to go to work she would be putting her health and safety or that of others at risk then a letter to that respect should be submitted as part of her appeal.

Found it! johnnyvoid.wordpress.com/ta...

"The regulations identified by Black Triangle show a way forward for all GPs who have concerns about how their patients are treated by Atos and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)."

Regulation 29 states that claimants should not be found ‘fit for work’ if: “the claimant suffers from some specific disease or bodily or mental disablement and, by reasons of such disease or disablement, there would be a substantial risk to the mental or physical health of any person if the claimant were found not to have limited capability for work.”

Regulation 35 states that: “the claimant suffers from some specific disease or bodily or mental disablement; (b) and by reasons of such disease or disablement, there would be a substantial risk to the mental or physical health of any person if the claimant were found not to have limited capability for work-related activity.”

The disabled and less abled in this country are treated with less compassion and understading than any other sector of society. It feels a disgrace to be British sometimes when youre on the recieving end of such treatment. I wish you and your mum all the very best. Stay strong x

We are heading back to Queen Victoira,s time were if you dont come from money have rich parents to back you then the state the Gov are unwilling to back you. 10 years from now it is going to get dark for the people. In April its going to get dark for people. I wish we could stand as a group and fight.
