if you get the contribution ESA, do you qulify for free dental, eyes check and perscriptions?

No, you only get those if you get the income based ESA. However if your ESA is your only source of income, or you are otherwise on a low income, you can pick up a HC1 form from your doctor /dentis / pharmacy, and fill it in. If eligible you will then be sent a HC2 form which will give you 12 months free prescriptions, none cosmetic dental treatment, free sight test, and voucher towards spectacles.

hey thanks for replying bk but what bout if the esa contribution is ur only source of income

you can still get a hc1 but all your income and savings are taking into accoun so the help you get may be reduced i hope this helps

Great advice here but of late most GPs and Chemists etc do not have the HC1 forms. You have to request them online. And I cannot for the life of me find the site for you. I will keep looking. You may be lucky, you may be able to get the forms from the above. But over the last three years I have had to go lonine to get thewm for my daughter xxxxx

Right, just sent you a private message as I am not sure if I can post the link here. If you put your house number in, postcode, it then takes you to the complete your address page. Once done if you scroll down it lets you click what forms you want. Best idea is to click the 2 of HC! so you have one for next year too xxxxx
