blue badge !

hi i got my blue badge the other day hurray! but i wanted to ask as i had to go for a medical for them to allow me it how does this make me now stand on applying for dla?? surely it kind of contradicts them refusing me??? can anyone help pls x

Great news fairytails and your blue badge, Our council refused my application as I was not receiveing DLA at the high rate mobility ??? I think councils have there own rules on who get blue badges, Where one may issue you after a medical others use the DLA system.

its a bit ridiculous the way it seems to be left to almost personal decisions ! i was in all honesty expecting to be refused as i have with any other help ive tried to ask for so when i went and spoke to the lady i was a little agressive with my answers almost saying i cant explain look it up ( fibro symptons) id just had enough after the ordeal with the atos doc! but it has been so far a godsend i must admit ive also called the dla told them that i need help i know have my blue badge and she said il send a form!!lol! whatever!!so wel see il keep u all informed as i said it seems infuriatingly so that some get some dont! fair system not at all me thinks! i hope you all have lovely pain free weekends xxx
