Different Ideas - Optimum Health Clinic.

Hi everyone, I haven't posted too much as I have been busy trying something new - at least to me!

Some told me of the Lightning Process that had completely cleared her ME - she has had it for the last 25 years. She is now so well that she is caring for her terminally ill mother. So I looked into it and was about to sign up for a course, bit expensive but since I must have spent fortunes on almost everything else I thought it was worth a try.

Then I came across the Optimum Health Clinic. It chimes with my own emerging ideas of what Fibro is and where it comes from. My feeling is that ME/CFS/Fibro are all part of the same 'illness' and that is complete burn out of all systems, physical, physiological, psychological, emotional etc. Mostly this is due to massive stress over a long period of time. That is certainly true of my situation and from what I have read on here it seems that it is true of many if not all those contributing.

Again the treatments are not cheap, but there are various alternative ways of receiving the treatment. If you go on the site you will see there is a 15 minute free consultation available. What I like is that everyone who works there now has had ME/CFS/Fibromyalgia and got rid of it. On top of that they are campaigning for the treatment to be available on the NHS. They take part in scientific tests with the results being published in scientific journals.

I am working on this at the moment and getting quite useful results myself. I am aiming to get rid of my problems altogether. I had set July/August this year as my date, but as usual it could be too soon a date. They do talk about this kind of thing !! They are publishing a book online via their newsletter chapter by chapter giving really useful information on how to deal with the illness.

**LINK/EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED BY ADMIN** This is the email for Alex Howard who started the clinic and recovered from ME.

If this helps just one person I will be pleased. I have a way to go but I will keep you informed of my progress.

Happy Healthy New Year to all

While this may be helpful for some of us, we are all different and I am loathe to pay out for something that may not work for me. Most would say 'well you don't know until you give it a go' but I have given so many things a go and nothing works for me. GP would not even refer me to pain clinic as he knew it would be a waste of my time. But for anyone that tries it I wish them well xxxxx

Hi Ozzygirl64,

I am right with you there. I wrote down a list of therapies etc. I have tried and there were pages of them ! Some worked for a while, some didn't work at at all. But there is such a lot of free information available on the site and that is why I have mentioned it.
