I too am struggling with my sleep for goodness only knows why! Awake at 4am today and couldn't back off to sleep until it is time to get up for work. I am exhausted from being at work but just can't seem to settle properly. I know I snore (my daughter tells me) and I probably wake myself without realising it. To top it all, my contact lenses won't stay it and don't seem to be working at all the last 2 days - probably due to dry eyes. Trying to get others to understand that this and the many other 'niggles' just add up to a blisteringly annoying time caused by FMS..... can I really maintain being at work?

Sleepless too .....
Hi SuzySparkle poor you I guess you are right dry eyes wont help! It is amazing how many of us are up so early in the morning! If you feel able to work it must be marvelous I had to give up 3 years ago. Hope you have a better night tonight. x gins
Hi there. Lack of sleep is horrible isn't it. I take strong pain relief and gabbapentin just as I go to bed and it does seem to knock me out for a few hours! My hubby says I snore too I thought it was only him that did that!! I gave up contact lenses years ago, I think if you are tired they hurt even more. There are some lovely glasses about now, you can also get drops for dry eyes, have you tried them? That might help. Shame we can sleep well and then wake like we have never slept, oh the joys of fibro. Hope you have a better night.
Hugs to all xx
Hi suzysparkle,
Not getting proper sleep is the worst thing, i struggle at the minute staying asleep. I do take amitriplyn but i am scared to go and ask it to be upped, so i just get on with it the best i can. I dont work though so its not as bad for me.
I hope you get some good rest soon its not too much to ask for is it.
Hugs and love, kel xxxxx
