clothes shopping!!

Been clothes shopping today, going on holiday next week. 5 days with hubbies parents in Somerset, then 4 days camping at the Purbeck folk festive. I recent lost about a stone in weight so I needed some new clothes......I could not be bothered hot and achy...so I gave up and came home!!!

Feeling really depressed about it!!

JaxxL I hope you have a much deserved break, enjoy yourself but make sure you take a bit of time to rest in between everything.

Congratulations on your weight loss, well done! Please tell me your secret, I think many of us would like a few hint on losing weight. :)

It's a shame you didn't find any new clothes. I suppose there's always tomorrow, some shops are open, but it's the effort isn't it. I can't remember the last time I physically went clothes shopping, I do it all online now.

Take care and have a lovely time next week! :)

Thanks Libbyde. I've just cut out carbs...........seems to be working!!

I'm looking forward to my break xx

Well done JaxxL! Do you exercise at all or was it just cutting carbs out of your diet?! :) You've done so well! :)

Hello Jax, great to hear you lost some weigh big smile..

idea go through you old item see what does fit first, is it possible to use some of your trousers that are big and use a belt for the camping side of thing. so long as you have a couple of items you can always pick up one or two items while your away and be able to have someone go with you, always make it easier big hug xx

Have you thought of shopping on line? I have started to, and it's really convenient, there are lots of sales out there, and if you use good stores like asda, debenhams bhs ect. you have really good service and can generally trust the sizes.

Best of luck, and have a lovely holiday, Cazx

Thanks everyone........Ah Taunton is exactly where I am staying!!!! Yep do some shopping on line, but I really wanted to get out and have a browse.

As far the weight loss, yep I'm walking a bit. I take the dog with me and each week I have just gone a little further and it seems to be OK. Mind you I'm back on my prescription anti inflammatory tablets!! I do feel so much better. Its not all plain sailing..some days the pains in my legs are worse, I just rest and then try again the next day.

Hope your all well

Well done for loosing some weight. I have lost three dress sizes in a year and I have found that although the doc said this would help the pain it has done the opposite.

I shop mainly online as trying on clothes is exhausting. Mind you so is going to the post office to send items that don't fit back. Oh the decissions we have to make.

Have a great holiday and good luck with camping, I have enough trouble sleeping on nice memory foam mattress let alone the tent floor. :-)

thanks Devonlady, have to admit 'm not looking forward to sleeping in the tent, I will miss my memory foam mattress. It's been abut 10 years since I camped, but it's only for 4 nights and we are going to the Purbeck Folk festive so I'm looking forward to it. Congrats on your weight loss, I still have some way to go!!

take care

Jax :)
