Yes. Ask your pharmacist to give them to you a different way, whatever is best for you. Boots will make up your doses ready for each day if it will help you.

hi..i didnt know boots did that..i had to ask my grandaughter to get the top off my tabs!! not good when its a child proof bottle and shes 6!!...obviously i whatched her all the time ..in case anyone thinks i was being irasponsable xx

They should change the name from "child proof" to "fibro proof", and my pet hate bleach bottles !!

With all this unemployment you would think they would invent the job of mobile bottle opener... Then give them a list of people to visit during the day to open bottles jars meds etc... I too get get my son to open mine ... It's not so bad now he.s 15 but he's been doing it for years,

I have the medisure system from Boots, they blister pack all your tablets in AM and PM for each day.Only trouble is,now I'm having trouble opening the blister packs!!

I have had the same yes but now keep a bottle that is easy open and get a friend or family member to decant for me. I have tried asking pharmacist for pills to be in non child proof bottles but been told I have to pay for this service. I have no children in the house and even the blister packs can be a struggle some days. I think it is an accident waiting to happen as the brown bottles I have to decant into have no proper label on.

Oh yes indeed, - I have Maxalt (rizatriptan) for my migraines and they come in the most odd blister packs. The first time I attempted to use them Ity took me nearly 20 mins to get ione out, I showed my GP and he agreed that when you are at your wo0rst with a migraine the last thing you need is to have to fight your way to het your "meltlet into uour mouth. After a while there appeaterd ato be a change and tho not as difficult bya long way, its easier now to get them out and into the mouth. hey ho.......such fun !!
