my consultant once gave me some very wise advice:-

Hi Sandra,

makes sense really if you are able to do it. My sleep was all over the place and as we know, waking up exhausted. Decided, oh stuff it, why set the alarm for 8 if i've only had 4-5 hours sleep, i still set it but set it for 9 and see how we go. Seems my deeper sleep is between 6 & 9. Is working ok and i'm not as tired...touch wood.

think sometimes we've actually got to allow ourselves to do what we normally wouldn't and give ourselves a break.

Getting enough/restful sleep is a must and once we start to get there, if indeed we can, then sort out the sleep pattern.

We do tend to be a bit hard on ourselves at times...no more for me. i need to look after me, end of

Take care
