Wouldnt it be nice if there was some-kind of medical test that detected how much pain we were in , Im not looking for sympathy from any-one but would be nice for medical experts to see and say" oh my god you are suffering "

yes, indeed. they do say "walk a mile in someone's shoes before you judge them". I know I'm getting repetitive lol but it's as true today as it was 15 years ago when this cursed condition started blighting my life!
I've just signed the petition for changing the way DWP medicals are dealt with. It's ridiculous the way that we are assessed. Am a great believer is speaking out for what you believe in. Alone we are but a voice speaking in the multitude; together, we are one big SHOUT! Someone must listen somewhen.
surely if they did a brain scan they would see the pain receptors in the brain firing constantly. I am sure I have seen programmes showing scans where they can monitor how people react to certain images or emotions, so why cant they see the pain receptors firing?
That would probably prove too costly Juile but i would be one of the first to ask for one x Well done Sammicat on your petition and views , I went for my medical 2 weeks ago atos paid for a taxi 60 mile round trip because my doctor faxed to say i couldnt drive ( bone on my knee is breaking apart and i am awaiting surgery) so apart from the pain of fibro i cant walk ! The medical examiner was horrible she put me through hell doing tests and would frown when i asked her to stop anyway i lost my claim and now have no income whats so ever i am also a single mum with a little boy at home who is 11 who almost cares for me daily (starting to well up here a bit now ) so will sign off for a bit
exactly my thoughts too.... if there were a way of measuring pain and a machine that could see it, would save a lot of the hassle and stress trying to explain it... because its very difficult to explain properly, as it changes every day...
