Has anyone had a problem with support from their GP when they require a letter confirming their illness to present to a tribunal? If so, how did you deal with this situation and what was the outcome?

yes anyone going through this myself ...
i recently had my dla tribunal, with no support at all from my gp, I had letter from various specialists but these were dismissed, they even got at me because she had prescibed the wrong meds, if your s wont support you find one that does
I recently went to the drs for a letter to support my first appeal, I saw a locum dr and she asked a few questions and said fine I will write you a letter you can pick up next week. I went to pick up and had to pay £30 which she did not tell me about, when I got home and read it it was ok but considering she is a dr I would have expected a lot better, this meaning in wording and the contents. I did send it off with my appeal but it has now gone to tribunal. My old dr has left who was great, i'm so gutted about that so I feel that I probably will go through all the stress and nerves of the court and come out with nothing at the end of it. I'm not sure its worth it, but my husband says go for it.
I hope things go well for you xx
