Hi yes I do. My neck is very painful 99.9% of the time, I am not sure whether it is mechanical problems from whiplash or FM. probably a bit of both. It really is not nice is it. I often crcak my neck and then my chest bone feels strainge so that cracks too. I believe cracking of joints is just air in there, so nothing to worry about.

Hope your cracking problems improve!!! xx

i get a grinding feeling in my neck. mainly when im turning over in my sleep. it hurts like hell. i want to see a specialist for my fibro. any suggestions in the birmingham area?

dont know about that,i wanted to see a specialist and so i asked my doctor who told me there wasnt much point and to grin and bare it!!! easier said than done when your body goes so stiff that it makes every bone crack! hope some of you are having more luck than me x

All my joints and bones crack some hurt some just annoy me, but i have just found out i have hypermobility syndrome aswel as fibro and cfs/me, so my gp thinks its more hypermobility that is doing it.

I have constant pain in my neck and my gp said that was my first sign of having fibro.

OMG I have had cracking knees since a really young child-the other kids at Primary school used to find it highly amusing during PE classes. It doesn't hurt but people have commented on it all my life. I've only recently been given a diagnosis of Firbro like sypmtoms. I have suffered from AWFUL stiffness and pain thoughout my neck, back and chest for as long as I can remember and the pain has been so bad over the years. No one could tell me why. I pop and crack all the time. I used to go to osteopaths for relief and they would crack and pop me-now I do it myself and I think it helps a little to release the air. Why it happens is a strange one. The osteopaths used to comment on how stiff I was-now I know why. Once I was so stiff after waking that I put my neck out when I sneezed!!!
