hi can someone please advise? My son has a pip review telephone assessment in 2 weeks time.I rang the pip telephone number to ask if he could have a face to face appointment as it would be easier due to his austium etc,the gentleman on the phone said they are not doing face to face due to covid issues I said ok my son will struggle he said looking at the system I see dad is his appointee he can do the assessment I questioned it again but he said the same thing . He stated a lot has changed with the process so don’t worry. Any thoughts or has anyone had the same response please? Many thanks xx

If it’s any help my friend has an adult son with Down’s syndrome …he is able to communicate quite well in person, but not on the telephone…& he answered all Benefit related calls for his son for years….
