Hello everyone just a quick post.my sons pip review has been extended for another year so I'm assuming they have a huge backlog have a lovely stressfree Xmas everyone xxx

If its been extended then yes there is still a massive back log but that's the 2 main companies that run the assessments are ripping off the government.

Had U filled out any forms to reapply for PiP on ur sons behalf ?

If not then they will turn up but as its only been extended 12 months it means at some point they will be in touch.

Hi George1973I think there is a backlog due to changes with other benefits.

So I wouldn't worry. Just try to keep on top of it.

hi it’s already 1 year over due received a letter to say it’s extended until dec 24 😀

Goodmorning yes had same issue was waiting on review outcome then received extension to award but after 3 weeks got text saying they were looking at my paperwork then got phone assessment and then the outcome of review which was a ongoing award for 10years but with all that's going on at the moment iam expecting another change in the system and even tho have mobility issues and serous sight issues probably be expected to find job or loose pip so bloody fed up with gov picking on the disabled or ill
