Bad taste

I have had fibro for over 20 years but have only been taking Duloxetine for about 12 months. I have recently been having a bad taste in my mouth which is worse in the morning. I was wondering whether this is a side effect from the medication or another symptom to add to the list.

You could have a word with your pharmacist they are pretty well informed with meds, im on duloxtene , I do get a dry mouth in the Mornings xx

Thank you for your reply. I am due to get a repeat prescription so will ask the pharmacist when I collect them. I also have a dry mouth in the mornings since I started taking them but only had the bad taste recently

Hi Daisue, I have been on duloxetine for few months now, and I recently started experiencing dry mouth and bad taste in my mouth almost all day, so I think it's down to the Duloxetine

Thank you for your reply. I will be asking the pharmacist when I collect my next prescription. I also have a dry mouth as soon as I started the medication but only recently had the bad taste.
