Awake all night!!!!

It's just so soul destroying lying there in pain in so many different parts of my body. Then before you know it it's time to get up for work exhausted.......

I try to stay positive like I tell other people but its hard to think this will never change.

I smile to hide the pain I'm really feeling. 💔

Just feeling low this morning, I will go and look after my elderly dementia suffers and this reminds me how lucky I really am.......and it takes my mind off my pain until I finish work 😊

Have a good day everyone 💗

Sorry too read about the pain and no sleep it’s so wearing for sure, i went threw a stage of this a few years back and I actually wondered how I stayed awake for the day, in the end the doctor gave me a temporary supply of tablets too make me sleep and break the circle, but I know it’s the pain that’s the problem and working as well your body must be struggling, they are also very lucky too have such a caring person around them xx

I am sorry to hear your sleep is not good I also spend many nights awake. I use a combination of talking books and mindfulness, and have a pacing plan to help me get through the next day. Pacing probably harder to do in your job. I also think it’s wonderful that you carry on being such a caring person in view of your own difficulties.

Sorry to hear this and I know it is so difficult then getting in to work . I used to do 12 hour shifts. I did find gentle swimming and walking in warm water very helpful . Maybe ask GP about hydro therapy pool near you too. Now retired I seem always in pain and still try to get to pool everyday , really think being in water helps as long as warm. Might even help with the sleep aspect. I do hope things improve for you.

It's so hard to focus your mind when you are ln pain all over your body at night . However what supported me was using a ten machine which after using it every day I did see some benefits in my pain levels. Look at what can support you perhaps using pillows on your pressure points when laying down. Thinking about stretching your pain out this does help. Instead of laying there trying to get to sleep . Pop some headphones and listen to music or listening books this will help you sleep.

Ask your GP to put you forward to the pain clinic I have just finished a 10-week course and felt they change my mindset of dealing with pain and my anxiety and family.

The key thing is relax your mindset to lower your pain levels. Stress creates pain . I researched so much on this illness and know little things can make a difference. Focus your attention on not giving in to your pain levels look at ways to lower them.

Ask your GP to support you share with him you are not sleeping.

Your a strong person going to work every day and dealing with workloads and people Good luck never give up because your worth it . Big hugs
