I literally HAVE to tell you all about this podcast, it was passed onto me through my glass-making network, so there's no gain for me, other than hoping it will help you also 💓I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia nearly 3 years ago now and although I have tried to cope with the changes and tried to help myself out in everyway I can it's been sooo emotional and to be honest it just bloody keeps giving!!!🤕🥴
...This is the first bit of real hope & inspiration I've heard from Dr Ayan Panja #324 How to Transform your health in 8 weeks (don't pass it up because of the timescale, there are some really simple things mentioned)
...really is worth listening to 🌞 hope you like it, let me know.
I know it's so difficult everyday.
I've literally just brought his book too- The Health Fix, so I'll let you know how it goes.
Hi. Thanks for passing this on. I have only just read your post , I was wondering how it has helped you so far? I’m always keen on finding ways to help myself cope with fibromyalgia.
"and although I have tried to cope with the changes and tried to help myself out in everyway I can it's been sooo emotional and to be honest it just bloody keeps giving!!!🤕🥴"
I get this!! Thank you for sharing. I keep thinking I'm going crazy, but this is really hard to deal with, hey? It's been 6 years for me and to be honest I'm coping less well the longer it continues🙁
Hope you are doing ok and that these resources help!! I'll have to check them out myself. 💛
Hi, I have Fibromyalgia and understand the rollercoaster you find yourself on. I was fortunate as I found a local support group, Fibro Active. They offer zoom sessions to members as well as face to face. It’s been a lifeline to me, all our members are positive and they get “it” because they too live it. There are loads of links on their website full of information. I have found Spoon Theory helpful, both to manage pacing and to explain to others how I’m feeling.
The spoon theory is a metaphor describing the amount of physical and/or mental energy that a person has available for daily activities and tasks, and how it can become limited. There are numerous articles and great visual aids too.
