Hi there, fibro has been a recognised illness for a number of years. So I wouldnt say its new news

fibromyalgia sufferers in the U.S. have finally been acknowledged. As 2015 came to a close.

And I'm sure its been medically acknowledged here in UK. The fact that not everyone in the medical profession choose to accept the acknowledgement is another matter. And im sure that could be the same in the US.

Sorry must be my misunderstanding . You said "Wow America has just recognised Fibromyalgia."

And like I replied they had reconised it a long time ago. So not exactly new news.

Any recognition of this condition is always a postive move, the wonderful and talented lady ga ga has certainly helped promote Fibro through her own experiences.

Not sure what you mean. There have been numerous moments in the last 3 decades to acknowledge or move forward the fibro cause. Curios if there is a link or something?

Also the UK has also had numerous moments as well.

Sorry I dont agree, not enough done for people in Enland for Fibromyalgia. Or maybe it is just where I come from. People are struggling to get Pip. Being asked to go to meetings to prove they have it.

This is not what I said. You said America recognised Fibro and I am wondering what that amounts to. I was also saying that fibro is recognised in the UK. In the NHS, by the DWP, by the military and discussed in parliament as well as mentioned in the guidance notes of the Equality Act.

Has enough been done for fibro in the UK. definitely not. But it is recognised and I am wondering what they recent change in the US may be.
