Hi 👋 I'm wondering if anyone has really hard/stiff crunching muscles?? My muscles in my whole body are crunching when I move but my jaw, neck and upper back are the worst. My joints pop and crack everywhere in my body which is painful and tbh sole destroying 😫. I never had this symptom until I got the 1st covid vaccine them my body went nuts and my nerves were firing off like crazy which eventually after a very long time settled but the crunching/popping it still there and my muscles jurk and twitch all the time. I hope someone can relate to this 🙏 not because I want anyone to be suffering I just need to converse someone who gets this because even though the doctors have been very helpful no medication has helped and I don't think they really understand whats going on in my body.

Hello there, I can relate too stiffness with muscles, I do need a soak in the bath too try and relax my whole body. I’m just wondering if a facial, body massage would help ? Nothing too hard pressure wise but just too get the body relaxed, just a thought . Did you ever ask your doctor about some physio ? Just trying too think of ideas that might help you xx

Have you had any blood tests done since you got this crunching pain in those areas?Specifically, your Inflammatory markers, Vitamin D , Vitamin B 12 , Folates , Magnesium and Ferritin.

It would be a good idea to request these to be done by the GP if they haven't done them already just to rule out the chance that your body had a short term autoinflammatory reaction to getting the jab or that it may be linked to a vitamin deficiency that possibly got worse while your body was using lots of its nutrients while producing the autoantibodies after the jab.

You will need to give yourself some added self care , if you are low in nutrients you may need more supplements , drinking the recommended daily fluids can help and really try to pace your day and physical activity or scale back on your exercises . Hopefully , with time and rest it will settle down again.

hi there,

I can relate and it’s awful! Sometimes it feels like all my muscles and nerves have just seized up! My husband is constantly massaging my back, legs or neck to pop the knots which helps a bit, but I find that I have to go for a massage every few weeks to try and keep on top of it as it feels like it just builds up. I go to a Thai place and they do a very gentle deep tissue massage with tiger balm, I find some parts very painful but try and breathe through it and it always makes me feels better after! I have also incorporated 10 mins of stretching into my morning routine and try my hardest to do this as regularly as possible, even if I’m super fatigued and have to go straight back to bed after!

Hope you get some relief x

When I first was diagnosed it was The Olympics three times ago and I got a ski thingy that you walk on with the same motion as skiing while I watched the box. The first time I used it, I got a very noticeable click in what seemed like my thigh and hip muscles. My then chiropractor, a characterful New Zealander, roared with laughter and said 'She's got a clicky hip!' She treated it for a couple of sessions and then the clicky muscle went slowly back to a quiet behaviour pattern of merely causing pain. I was trying amitrypt at this time to see if the doctor remedy would work and think that might have influenced how my muscle responded because all my muscles felt even more fatigue than normal. - I never used the machine again and I think I sold it. - I'm trying out a new thing this Friday called 'dry needling' at my present chiropractor's office after a treatment from her as my hips and sacrum can get very un-comfortable. Hoping that may help frequent thigh cramps and seizing up that I keep getting from doing endless stuff in the kitchen and other housework. Maybe it would help you to try taking some, or more, magnesium -google the best to take. It will most likely go in time, but maybe read up as much as you can discover online about antidotes to the injection. Your local health food shop if you have one may have gained some knowhow about this sort of thig too. - Well, in the past three years I've had no vaccs at all as I had strong natural remedies around that I could make use of like elecampagne tea, Just in case. But, I wasn't much in contact with people out where I live. A choice I made because I rather suspect that the flu jab and medical remedies for early menopause I had years and years ago made me react negatively and started the trend towards fibro. Healing wishes for successful hunting of remedies. I'm sure you have already tried quite few since diagnosis. Homeopathics can be surprising and don't interfere with other meds. Revisit foods, probiotics and cleanses you have tried before that you felt may have worked for something in the past. Loads of water. Sing and swear lots? Recover soon. x
