ESOMPRAZOLE

Hi all I was wondering I have started using Esomprazole over the last 6 weeks and I feel really sick. At times I have been sick and feel full even though I have hardly eaten anything. Does anyone else using this had the same symptoms.

it may be also need to take laxido, or there is another reason.

would try to get an appointment tomorrow, ring or write to your gp this feeling full and sick is something need to update on urgently.

Hello Elay glad you are seeing the doctor as does sound like a side effect , I am on lansaprazole which I m guessing is in the same group for acid reflux etc. let us know how you get on xx

I take Pantoprazole for GERD & esophagitis and doing a quick check on google they give very similar results in blind trials. I will say I've not found any bad side effects from it and I've been on it for over 4 years now. I have found that cutting down on wheat (not gluten, just wheat - especially wholewheat) seems to help me - and have noticed that if I have too much bread or a pizza or a beer which is brewed with wheat then I feel bloated and full very quickly - although I don't feel sick.

Ask your GP if a change of drug might help. Hopefully you an get sorted xx
