Hi there, sorry but I don't know what D3 drops are. Guessing its the D vit? If so all I know is D Vit pills. Which are as the name suggests is for vitamin D deficiency not fibromyalgia. So not sure what you are asking sorry.

Hi I don’t know about drops, but I take the chewable raspberry D3 from Sealions - get a years worth of 365 tablets for £5! I take them along with magnesium, calcium, multi vits + iron, B12 & others just to see if they’ll help

I have taken vitamin D for a number of years. I actually found the drops less effective than capsules or the tablets. Probably as I have arthritis in my hands so found the bottle awkard to hold and could never get the dose right.

After advice I now take Vitamin D with MK7 K2 at 4000 IU as it supposedly helps absorption. I took Vitamin D capsules before at the same 4000Iu and they did help but seem to be having a bit more benefit from the ones with Mk7 K2. Some doctors do test people with fibromyalgia to see what their vitamin D levels are as often they are low, could you see whether your GP is prepared to do that?

I have a very fair celtic skin so not a sun bather and have had precancerous sores which had to be removed so supplement because of that as sensible exposure to the sun can help.

Hope whatever you decide helps you.x

Sit in the sun if you can, mrspippy. A little bit every day is good for you unless you are taking certain pharmaceutical drugs -Just ask Doc or chemist. Helps with immunity to things. D3 is cholecalciferol. - All the vits really are good. We cannot get b vits from plant source but I've just started a multi B tablet in the morning again - NB they can get you buzzing all night if taken too late in the day. I used to take them for the occasional night duty!!! - B12 - I am careful not to take cyanocobalamin as it comes from a cyanide source but we do need B12 too. There are two other sorts of B12 - methycobalamin and adenosylcobalamin which are fine. The alternative I have been told is to eat worms which are fantastic source of vitamin B12! Just not my choice!!!!! Probably not yours either! Ordinary meat in small quantities can provide that. - Vit c most of us lack - in larger quantity can loosen the bowel a bit if you need that! Vit A - well, how many carrots can you eat in a day!? I never take enough E and forget what it is good for but generally, we don't get enough vits in general as vegetables these days have been proved to have much less nutrient value than they used to. Vits all googleable but I avoid 'healthline' as they are conscientiously negative about most things that help keep people fit - (can't think why, unless it has to do with their funding source!) - Well, I have taken the D drops too and when me and my hubs and son tested levels of vit D in our blood at the start of the epidemic mine was adequately high. Hubsis was not. I liked the orange oil flavour. However, I keep to the recommended dosage. Get well. Keep well.

I was prescribed Vitamin D3 supplements back in 2017 by my rheumatologist for my RA. Obviously my GP didn’t read the letter and I (normally eagle-eyed) completely missed it too. I was eventually prescribed Fultium D3 3,200 IU this year! 🙄
