struggling
yes felt like this till, thought just do one very easy thing each day, then everything else is a bonus, these mini achievements keeps me in a positive frame of mind.
the only way to do things is to break them down, in to little sections with many rests in between.
we have to be so careful with our pacing these days.
spoon theory may help.
often do a lot in pj just because save energy from dressing when folks do not see me.
also have a lot of aids to help in daily living to extend the spoons reduce pain,
these can be timers on cooking items so they turn off. to inbuilt timers.
if have a floor cooker like us we got n air fryer with a door sat on top, saves bending to load.
compression gloves aid my hand pain.
rollator walking, tray on seat for carrying to being able to sit and rest where ever am.
helping hand saves bending.
shower seat well that takes some tracking down, hubby keeps using to sit and peel veg.
probably mentioned the tooth paste dispenser, had to ask for help opening a tube, then the delay while hubby put what ever down, now have some independence from asking.
if look online there is a section of aids you can look at to see if would help you, in your daily living.
gentle hugs
I am exactly the same . I just try to do a little bit each day .
We all know this feeling, be kinder to yourself, I live by lists and then when I have a better day tick somethings off it. Take care
Same here. I have now accepted that I can only complete 1 outing a day, or a few small tasks at home. It takes time to find your limits.
