Hi Meljack9704 - & welcome. You may find some of the resources in the following link put together by the Physiotherapy Pain Association helpful: ppa.csp.org.uk/content/link...
The NHS website has a lot of good advice about weight loss such as this: nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-we...
You may also like to start with some very gentle exercises such as in the videos here once you scroll down: healthunlocked.com/fibromya...
Menopause makes you gain weight too 😏

Hello and welcome too the forum, have you seen your doctor recently? Especially if you feel low, my weight crept up when I went on duloxtene but it’s worked so well for me and it’s helped so much in keeping me more positive too, it’s just finding ways to cope with daily life , for me personally it’s been meds, pacing method , chatting here certainly has , sharing your thoughts with a loved one, close friend and just getting out how you feel , I always look forward to the better days ahead as hopefully there’s some coming your way very soon xx
Thank you, im trying to get to see a doctor but its a nightmare getting an appointment, i am holding back on how i feek, and i know its starting to bubble and will burst.. my family dont know how im feeling, as im supposed to be the strong one that holds the family together, so its pretty tough.. my life has changed so much ive put on about 3 stone in 5 years gone up 3 dress sizes and i can not shift the weight.. ive just turned 50 and i feel like im 80.. got an appointment with pain management next week, so will see what comes from that xx
