Fibromyalgia flare

I have never really got to grips with the difference between my Lupus symptoms and my fibromyalgia symptoms.

I recently feel and broke my foot in two places since then I have been getting pains in both feet ,both legs and arms and hands could the trauma from the fall set off a fibromyalgia flare

I am not on any pain relief apart from Co-codamol, what’s the latest meds recommend for fibromyalgia?

Hi @Greengems - I think it's difficult to tease out which symptom may come from different disorders as sometimes there's an overlap between symptoms too.

I'm sorry to read about your foot fractures, which can't be helping. I think a discussion with your GP may be a way forward looking at both your acute & chronic pain. They're in the best position to see what medication may be helpful in both the short & long term.

Sorry to hear of your fall😩as if coping with daily conditions if not enough for you, I agree I would check in too see your GP for a catch up. Very much trial and error , I’ve settled on duloxtene and Codiene, but the latter I can only have if pain if high. Wishing you a speedy recovery and take care.
