Hi. I've also noticed the same thing. My sleep is just awful. I have really dark circles under my eyes. I only got diagnosed this year. I can't unfortunately answer your question. Just hope someone does give an answer. Best wishes Golly

I’m very much in the same boat! I think it’s nice just to know we aren’t alone with these symptoms at least 💙

Ahh PES (Panda Eye Syndrome). Yes I suffer occasionally and it's not an attractive look is it. My eyes also get a little puffy too. Haven't got the answer as to why but then fibro rarely gives us the reason why it just does whatever it wants to do. I just use cold water to reduce the swelling and some aloe vera eye wipes. Not sure they do anything but it makes me feel I have at least tried to improve the look!

I looked like I had a black eye this morning! Must be to do with the fatigue - even if you sleep at night, it might be that we don’t get the “right” sleep with pain and discomfort making us toss and turn 🤷‍♀️

I’ve been really struggling with pain, weakness, and exhaustion recently… it’s a lottery ever morning to see which symptoms I’ll have 😅

Sending hugs 💙

If you sleep at night sometimes it isn't the best sleep if you have fatigue and toss and turn in your sleep so it can add to dark circles under the eyes , joint pain and stiffness.

Dark circles are common with Fibro and Chronic Pain disorders if you are on certain medications .

It's been noted that people on things like Garbapentin , Pregbalin and even regular paracetamol can have dark circles despite a good night's sleep , although it isn't quite known why and it isn't dangerous.

Drinking enough water each day helps it as dehydration in the eyes and body can effect the skin and eye health. Vitamin and mineral supplements with a meal each day can help eye health too.

I don't think just one dose would do it alone. If you need the painkillers you should take them , perhaps try them a few hours before bed instead.

I've just given rossmack the answer for that in his post if you fancy having a look , you can put your workmates in their place with it , and maybe get your boss to give you a quick break too!

That's because of your body clock , or circadian rhythm. Your cortisol production begins to drop about 4pm and there has been a normal build up of adenosine up to 2-3pm all of which work in a way that your body goes into conservation mode which can make you feel really sleepy.

You might notice your body gets quite heavy and your temperature drops so you feel a bit colder as well , it effects different people with different health conditions or at certain ages more than others.

The human body was built to take a rest in the middle of the day , so if you can it's good to take a nap, or siesta , then , it actually improves your sleep at night as long as you put on an alarm and only sleep for 30 mins - an hour.

If it feels too bad , or you are at work , the best thing to do is get a bit of fresh air and daylight and have a quick 10 minute stroll or stretch outside , or eat a healthy snack and drink more water.

There was always a good reason that a proper lunch time and an afternoon break were meant to be kept in a working day , it actually helps you maintain your energy and be more productive if you don't skip them.

The evening slump happens as your body starts releasing melatonin , it's like a body alarm clock to tell you it's time to start your bedtime routine and if you start preparing your sleep from then it can help you get good sleep or reduce insomnia.

Think it might be. Mines tend to be puffy and sometimes look like I'm wearing eye shadow? Can't remember last time I even attempted make up so it's definitely not that. Was putting it down to fatigue, pain, menopause ..... 🤷 well, actually haven't the foggiest 😳🤣 my sleep is pretty awful too!

Update How do I know I pull a muscle at the gym as I was putting weights like 30 kg and I was doing 3 sets of 10.

If I pulled muscle can it make me fatigued and only comes on later in the day like 6 pm until 8pm , but not allof time ,then I put deep freezer gel or hot water bottle and then goes away.i also did start with fever

The fatigue I only get at night around about 6 pm, but before it happened twice a day, but. I have been doing a lot of walking last week I walked 31 km which I saw on my fitness app. I do walk 1 hour perday.

I had a talk therapy and the lady said I got tension in my muscles and she gave me PROGRESSIVE MUSCLE RELAXATION which I find hard to get into at first and it happened. Are there any other ways As I Looked into yoga and meditation healing.

I want to get back to the gym and other activities to keep fit. I have been attending church and bible study which help me to relax.

i do take multivitamins and minerals
