Hi, can anyone recommend a way around this please? I have a lot of work to do on online over the coming weeks, using computer literally all the waking hours I have looked at gaming finger covers, conductive thread to sew on gloves but I don't think that would work. Has anyone found a solution short of cutting time on computer please?

dictation is good on most platforms now including phone. Alternate or dictate prose and then edit.
I agree with Des. Dictation is a good way to go. I may not even have mastered it properly, so I go through and edit and it is still quicker and easier. I learnt how to do it copying a friend's two short novellas she had written by hand in a time before she developed something like cfs. - This new skill proved to be a really worthwhile exercise for me and it is also good to exercise your voice and use spoken words when you are alone - working. - Try and alter the height you work at sometimes so you can spend fifteen minutes or so standing - your body will tell you when to sit again! You will need to look after your back, shoulders and neck as well. Hands, wrist and forearms of course will play up too but perhaps not as much as you think they will. I sometimes use a small sonic massager if my middle fingers start locking. - Munching your way through the next few weeks with a supply of non/low carb foods and muscle food you know you can digest well may be supportive. Shake arms and hands lots. Stretch bits of you that are starting to shout. Take short rests and short walks so you can think about things you are stuck on, and a notebook to write things down as the act of writing by hand is sometimes more productive and creative for ideas. Play music but not songs because other words distract. - Talk out loud to yourself about what you are doing and still have to do. - Do not spill coffee on your keyboard!!! Keep all drinks off your desk. - Make judicious topical use of voltarol if you need to and are not taking anything else that will seriously conflict with it. - MCT oil is helpful for the brain as is Sage Oil (spanish sage variety)- is incredible for sharpening up the mind. NMN and ubiquinol - All of these early in the day or whatever you use that you know works ok for you. Decide on a time and routine for getting to bed and getting to sleep and try not to compromise it unless you are really on a roll. Good luck and keep the crepe bandage and yelling at the computer as a last resort.
