Thank you all for your replies. Yes I do feel severe headaches are part of Fibromyalgia. I really don’t

Know what’s worse! Also having to take medications to treat head and body 😩

Hi, I have had fibro for 40 yrs and Imo headaches tension Migraines etc are not fibro related.

As this post is related in response to a previous post. It would make more sense to our members if it was posted on that original post. Which can be found here.

Fern you will get headaches if you been diegnosed with fibromyalgia that all part of it I feel for you what meds are you taking🙂

No you will not get headaches if you get fibro. You may get more than the background number in the general population, you may also not get any more headaches than a normal person. It is not a given thing.

No matter if you have had fibro for 5 or 50 years we have research and evidence that is backed up that gives us a picture of what fibro is. This will change between decades so long term personal experience can be suspect. But just as not all people will fit into the general fibro research picture and be exactly like the next book..... it is also true that no one persons experience or their view through the prism of their own expereince of their condition will not reflect that of everyone else.
