I’ve recently tested positive 2 days ago after my after Xmas/new year’s flare up or so I thought but there are many similar symptoms and I’m really struggling with the smallest tasks. I’m currently feeling like I’ve been run over by a steam train, has anyone on here kicked covid how long is this going to be before I kick it

Covid v fibromyalgia
Sorry to hear you are suffering. Only going by own experience of having had Covid in early 2020, it took a good month before I started to feel anywhere near recovery. The fatigue was relentless. I was off work 6 weeks in total but needed a long phased return. I have noticed though that my flare ups seem to occur more often since I had it and are more painful.Having said that, everyone’s experience is different. Wishing you a speedy recovery 😊
I had mild covid over Christmas /new year, but the fatigue has been unreal.... And feeling constantly wiped out.
Hi, tested positive just over 3 weeks ago, thought I was getting better but felt worse again this week, turns out I've got another chest infection and on antibiotics and steroid tablets. The fatigue is unreal. I hope you recover quickly and suffer no lasting effects 😊
12 days since testing positive, and still feeling like I’ve been run over by a steamroller, most of the other symptoms have gone but the tiredness and sinus problems linger on
I've had fibromyalgia and a bad back/pelvis issues for a few years now. I stupidly went on a long walk on New Years Eve and it didn't do my back any good. I was bedridden for 3 weeks during which time I tested positive for Covid as well. I'm clear of Covid now but Oh, so much pain still. I hurt when I stand up, sit down and try to walk. I get relief by lying down only. My fibro/back problem flare-ups don't usually last this long. I believe Covid has excaserbated everything.
