'Checkup's'

Hi all

I've not been here for a while, so apologies to one and all.

I have been receiving PIP since October 2019. Yesterday (saturday) I received a 'brown envelope' asking to fill in my medical history, accumulate 'evidence' and send everything back to DWP or whoever they are by 29th December.

I really do no know what they want ... I have a heart condition, Liver problem, Sleep Apnoea as well as Fibromyalgia. Maybe they think that I found a cure for all my ills, who knows.

Are these personal 'intrusions' and check up's usual?

Tom

Hi Tom, yes - your original award would have only been for a certain length of time and must be due for renewal in the next few months. Therefore it is necessary to complete review forms every few years.

Our benefits team can provide further information and guidance on completing the forms, and you can get assistance with completing the forms from citizens advice etc.

You can contact the benefits team on 0300 999 0055 (Mon, Wed, Fri 10.00-12.00) or email benefits.advice@fmauk.org
