Does anyone get joint swelling with fibro?

My elbow joint keeps getting sore and swollen and one of my doctors says its just the fibro while the other says it shouldn't cause any swelling

Hi there, fibro is known to effect the muscles not the joints. Joint pain and swelling are more related to arthritis to the best of my knowledge.

If it continues I would definitely be having another word with the GP or see another doctor if you can and get a second opinion.

As Dizzytwo has said Fibro doesn't usually effect the joints, that is more likely to be caused by Arthritis. I would definitely speak to your GP again about it.

Hi , as the others say it could be arthritis, I have both fibro and arthritis and my joints swell with the arthritis.

I was getting pain at my elbow before diagnosed with fibromyalgia and still do but I personally haven't had swelling there. Hope you get answers 🙏🏻 x

I get stabbing pains in elbow the funny bone nerve but no swelling

My elbows hurt ALL THE TIME! But no swelling. Just throbbing pain. Xx
