I haven't posted on here for some time as have been so stressed with lots of things happening in my life.
I have a really painful lump in my left inner wrist. I have seen the GP who sent me for an X-ray & I am still waiting for a scan appt. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this please?

Yes my 1st was on the inside of my wrist, second on top, I had them both removed in surgery, mine were ganglion, harmless but uncomfortable and not nice to look at. The thing is they can grow back, as mine did, hope you get it sorted and that it's nothing serious.
Hi Annie. Yes, it’s a cyst. It’s a random all of a sudden arrives kind of thing that can happen to anyone. Don’t worry about it, it will be benign. Unless it’s very large or painful I wouldn’t think of surgery as they generally go away on their own. I had one on my left wrist for quite some time and suddenly overnight it was gone. Two days later it reappeared, on my right wrist, I kid you not! An exact mirror image. A week later I accidentally banged it as I reached into my wardrobe and guess what, it immediately disappeared, no pain, just gone! So, if you have the nerve whack it with a book or something, it displaces the fluid and, Bingo.
Hi there I have exactly what you described and its a ganglian and as usual the doctors arn't interested. Hope your scan results come back soon and give you some peace of mind they arnt dangerous or life threatening just annoying. Good luck
Hi Annie,I have Fibro and Lupus. I have numerous lumps in both writs and experience agonising pain and am unable to use them. After many visits to the doctors I had a scan. I was diagnosed with Dercums disease and am seeing a surgeon in January regarding removing the biggest lump. I hope this helps.
