Hi, it can be, but you need to get it checked out, there are a number of reasons why you could be dizzy.I had to go through loads of appointments to rule everything else out, mine ended up being CFS and light intolerant.

Make an appointment abs see your doctor, not everything is fm. Good luck. X

The answer may be yes and no. It happens to me a lot, after investigations it transpired that I have vertigo contributing to Dizziness and loss of balance. Sometimes the spinal issue can be the cause too. Check it out, it’s horrible condition xx

Hi, I would definitely get it checked out with your GP, as others have said dizziness can be a symptom of lots of different ailments. My husband was suffering with dizziness among other symptoms, checked by GP, number of blood tests and it transpired that he has a Vitamin B12 deficiency and Iron Anaemia, now being treated by the GP and he is much better, no more dizzy spells.

Hi Hardy99, I get that all the time Have fallen down three times, so far. Tests done but nothing showed up. I happily added it to my combo of FM torture tools. Problem is that one day something else might be wrong and I'll ignore it. Sigh.

HI, I have fallen due to dizziness. The cause been vertigo. Not really sure it is a fibro issue to be honest. I have had fibro for 40 years and never heard about dizziness been part of fibro. But it appears to me these days if you sneeze someone will tell you it's fibro related LOL You should talk with your GP and get them to look in to it. Good luck xx

I’ve read that vertigo can be a side-effect of the C vax. Might not apply to you.

Hi, I have also read the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)Trusted Source concluded that they did not occur in reaction to the vaccine itself. Instead, the CDC found that these are anxiety-related responses, which often occur after many different vaccines.

I’ve not read that but it is a not unexpected conclusion.

Hi I have had a similar experience I had really bad vertigo about 4 weeks ago and still have dizziness especially when I’m tired but I have a constant noise in my ear, I went to the hospital to be told it may be a suspected stroke. So had an MRI scan done finally after waiting and agonising over 3 weeks for the results it came back clear( so that’s one less result Thats not going on my fybro’s bucket list. ) I have been referred to ENT I personally think that it is a ENT problem but like many others I’ve read about they may just tell you it’s fibro related I would ask your doctor to refer you and do process of elimination rather than adding it to the fibro list.

Hope this helps and you get sorted 😀

Good morning. I hope you are feeling better and no other dizzy spells. I too suffer from a lot of dizzy spells, have had every test under the sun over the years. I now have been diagnosed with vertigo due to the crystals in my ears not being in the right place. I now regularly attend a vestibular physiotherapist every couple of weeks to re-align the crystals which does help with the dizzy spells. It is a long process to get there but worth it in the end. The condition is called BPPV. Maybe see your doctor and ask if it might be that.

Wishing you well.

Best wishes

Hi Hardy, dizzy spells can also be caused by low blood pressure, not drinking enough fluids and AO as well as all the other condition that other members have stated. You really do need to see your GP and start to get it identified. Best wishes Elaine x

I have had it a couple of times and thought nothing of it so makes me wounder
