Officially, they have one month in which to appeal the decision, however, you normally get your money in two hits back pay and current pay) in about two weeks.

My sister got her money within three weeks it was backdated to when she first made her claim

Hello as others have noted the DWP have 30 days to appeal the tribunal decision. If the DWP are not intending to appeal then your money will be paid once the DWP have received the tribunal decision and worked out your new payment award snd monies owing.

I got my first payment within a week - this was the back payment for one month. It then took another ten days for them to work out the full backpayment and pop the remaining balance in my account. Congratulations on winning your tribunal and sorry that you had to go through it.

Hi,i'm so pleased you won your appeal,I have had fybro for almost 5 years now and applied for PIP in March 2020 to be told I wasn't eligible for it. Since then my fybro has got considerably worse and I have been signed off work since January this year,i applied again and had a letter saying sorry no. I have to have help with everything and every daily thing you have to do is extremely painful. My partner read the letter through and it said that I walk to work and back everyday!!!!!!!,just wondering how I do that (which I couldn't anyway) when I am signed off. I am so angry as I know people that get full daily and mobility that don't even need it and just sit outside Costa all day. I am so upset at this as I genuinely need it as I can't work. I am having my 4th zoom meeting this week as have had phone appointments with employers Drs and OT. I am appealing about the decision this time as I have been told that 8/10 people that appeal get it. Personally I would have rathered they come to me to assess me instead of over the phone, but this time I am not giving in,I am getting help to appeal this time,hope your feeling OK today take care xx

Hi deb26bie xxI've just had my letter today and it said No. Your right everything I said she lied and I had 3 days before started physio and she said no physio but was given exercises. Well who gave me them then. I'm so upset, I cried I agree with what you said they give it to ppl who don't need it sometimes and I'm struggling here and no. But I'm appealing. But I'm angry and upset just like you. I'll post on here when I've appealed xxx

Hi Fibrogirl12,i'm still waiting to hear back about my appeal its been a couple of weeks but not sure how long it takes. I'm really sorry to hear you didn't get it either. I was without my Pregablin from Saturday night till Tuesday as my pharmacy did not have my dosage there,that was Saturday,Monday and I went back on Tuesday morning as I was told they would be in 1st thing but surprise surprise they weren't,I was so angry and in so much pain after waiting 50inutes i kicked off(which isn't me now), so much so the pharmacist came out and said she was just doing it. By the time I got home I was crying with anger and the pain and done an econsult to my GP demanding they call me ASAP,in 15 minutes they called. I just cried and said that I still hadn't got an appointment for the pain clinic that I have had enough and can't take no more. She then said that she would get the surgery's secretary to find out what's happened,then quite conveniently I get an appointment for Monday afternoon. If I hadn't of kicked off would I have got an appointment for Monday???. Anyway now I've had a but of a rant about my week lol I really hope that you get your appeal back quickly and yes let me know.
