Does fibromyalgia diagnosis assist in getting Attendance Allowance?

Hello and welcome to our group. Like most awards I believe its how your health effects you. Not what the health problem is.Attendance Allowance helps with extra costs if you have a disability severe enough that you need someone to help look after you.

Hi, i think you would have to be diagnosed with fibro before you could apply for any allowance.

You dont have to be diagnosed, AA is based on how your condition affects you. Please be aware there is only care part on AA as no mobility.
